Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy has today named a 19-man World Club Challenge squad to face Leeds Rhinos at Elland Road on Sunday evening.
Bellamy has named 11 players from last year’s premiership-winning side, including the past three Golden Boot recipients, Cameron Smith (2007), Billy Slater (2008) and Greg Inglis (2009).
The squad also contains three members of the Storm’s title-winning under-20, National Youth Competition squad from 2009 in Gareth Widdop, Kevin Proctor and Jesse Bromwich.
Storm warmed up for the WCC game against English Super League champions Leeds with a strong 34-10 win over Harlequins RL at The Stoop in Twickenham on Sunday.
